On Tuesday, Democrats were handed a heavy defeat in Massachusetts when Republican Scott Brown beat Martha Coakley for the Senate seat left vacant by the late Ted Kennedy.  What led to this unlikely republican victory?  And what implications, if any, are there for Florida's 2010 elections?
