On Thursday, May 17, 2012, Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., the largest provider of broad-based civil legal services for the poor in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, celebrated the success of the third year of the “Together, We Must” Campaign for Justice and acknowledge the South Florida community that has continued to support the organization’s efforts to ensure that low income individuals and families have advocates to speak for them and protect their rights. 

Tagged “The Heart of Giving” to further supplement the organization’s efforts to ensure that low income individuals and families will have advocates to speak for them and protect their rights, establishments.  The 2012 Equal Justice Leadership Awards was presented to the Honorable Rosemary Barkett, United States Circuit Judge, 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and Dean Patricia D. White, University of Miami School of Law, in recognition of excellence demonstrated in protecting the rights of the South Florida Community’s most vulnerable individuals and families. Stephen Zack, Esq., immediate past president of the American Bar Association, spoke on behalf of Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc.
